Abstract
Nowadays, RCM (reliability centered maintenance) research on the application of Reliability Analysis based on Big Data is actively underway in the field of power grid. In the case of power distribution facilities, there are many studies on the prediction of power grid fault through big data analysis. Distribution facilities are exposed to the external conditions such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed and humidity, and environmental factors are expected to have a significant impact on power failure. Especially, the impact of weather factors on the fault of power grid is also a prerequisite for the analysis of big data. This study analyzed the extent to which weather factors affect the failure of distribution systems which are maintained by Incheon regional headquarter of KEPCO with data mining techniques and suggested how the results of this study could be used for power facility management through big data analysis.
