Abstract
Different obesity rates for the same population from Adolescent Health Behavior Online Survey and Student Health Survey samples motivated us to look into these two surveys looking for causes in terms of obesity criteria, survey methods, and distribution. Our exploration presented descriptive statistics and BMI boxplots and we analyzed obese students depending on their obesity levels. For all students and obese students, respectively, heights and weights were compared between the two surveys. Analysis on Student Health Survey Sample Statistic revealed that obese students entered their heights and weights incorrectly, which is the major reason to the different obesity rates.
