Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare the proposed two zero-year-old population inferences (2019-2122) in this thesis and the zero-year-old population (2019-2067) estimated by the National Statistical Office in 2018. The 2018 Future Population Projection is very important estimates elaborated by many experts based on reliable data. The future population projection announced by the National Statistical Office in 2018 year will have great influences on Korea’s policies in the future. The zero-year-old population projection proposed in this study are estimated based on the distribution of zero-year-old population of the defined population. The 0-year-old population estimates presented in this study are visually superior to those of the National Statistical Office.
