Abstract
The Republic of Korea has maintained a policy of peaceful use of radiation relatively early on. As a result, it is assessed that the technology industry using radiation is largely approaching world-class standards. In particular, following the business valley creation project using radiation convergence technology since 2008, the development of convergence technology through integration with cutting-edge technologies such as BT/NT/ET/IT is evaluated as a future industry that will become a new growth engine for the country. Meanwhile, radiation patent information contains detailed information on radiation-related convergence technologies. Therefore, in this study, we explored radiation convergence technology through status and network analysis of patent information on radiation convergence technology. As a result, patents related to radiation fusion technology have increased significantly since 2010, and most of the core detailed fusion technologies in the patents are medical products or related preparations. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the core technology of radiation fusion and provide basic information for predicting future technologies capable of high added value.
